The Blueprint of a Seamless Wedding Story
Behind every breathtaking wedding album lies a systematic, comprehensive preparation workflow. A wedding is not a controlled studio shoot—it is a fast-moving live event with changing lighting conditions, unpredictable weather, and hundreds of moving parts. At Eden Photography, our pre-production planning starts weeks before the first camera clicks.
"Preparation is the key to catching unscripted candid emotions. When the technical details are pre-planned, we can fully focus on the heartbeat of the wedding."
Our Complete Wedding Planning Workflow
1. The Initial Consultation & Mood-Boarding
We start by aligning with the couple's vision. We discuss their style preferences (traditional, moody, bright, or highly candid), look at references, and outline a custom mood board. This helps our shooting team select the ideal gear, lenses, and color grading profiles.
2. Venue Rehearsal & Lighting Assessment
A few weeks before the wedding, we visit the venue (or review detailed photos/floor plans if it is outside Chennai). We locate where the ceremony stage sits, find the windows for natural ambient light, and identify the best spots for sunset portraits. This helps us pre-position secondary lighting blocks.
3. Schedule Syncing & Golden-Hour Mapping
We work directly with your wedding coordinators to align our timeline. We map out exact timings, identifying precisely when the sunset "golden hour" happens. We block out a firm 30-minute window for portraits so the couple can slip away during the best light without disrupting the reception.
4. Gear Calibration & Backup Strategy
The day before, we charge, clean, and test all equipment. We deploy a dual-card shooting strategy—writing images to two memory cards simultaneously in real-time. This eliminates any single point of failure and secures your memories against data loss.
